Thank you for your interest in supporting the art of living and the living arts in beautiful Bedford County, Virginia.
Home to a community Health Fair, Artisan Fair, Bluegrass and Blues cultural music & heritage events, local BBQ and chili competitions, the Country Fair & Gathering and distinguished artists programs, on-going classes and creative experience workshops, Hunters for the Hungry, Boy Scout Troop #638, a cub scout den, recreational ball field, and equine arena -- we continue to grow.
Where else can you experience cultural music festivals, feast on competition barbecue and chili, enjoy carriage rides on 17 acres of sunny green lawns and wildflower meadows, pet the calves, goats, and alpacas cared for by our local farmers, learn primitive skills, showcase your prized livestock, purchase one-of-a-kind local art and crafts, browse art exhibits and camp beneath the shelter of the Blue Ridge Mountains - all in one summer?
This year donations helped keep the The Sedalia Center and her grounds beautiful. We made many necessary building repairs and created more user-friendly spaces. The upgrades to our concession stand, banquet room, and kitchen continue to prove beneficial and well received. We are now upgrading our Gallery, Class Room, and Studio, thanks to Friends of Sedalia, and we look forward to the new cabinetry, flooring, and window blinds.
We welcome you to visit the new 'Discovery Trail'. Designed for ease of access, for all ages and abilities, this is a great space to have a picnic, rest beneath the trees and let the kids run around and have a bit of fun.
